CAALA Vegas highlights a program that offers something for everyone

I hope this column finds you all in good health and high spirits as we head into the month of August. The summer season is in full swing, and with it comes a series of exciting events and opportunities for our CAALA community.

CAALA Vegas

First and foremost, I want to draw your attention to the upcoming CAALA Vegas Conference, which will be held from August 31st to September 3rd at the Bellagio Resort. This conference has always been a highlight of our calendar, bringing together legal professionals from all over California and beyond. It provides an excellent opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional growth. I encourage all of you to mark your calendars and join us for this prestigious event.

Women in Law Conference

Looking ahead to October, we have the highly anticipated Women in Law Conference. This conference is planned exclusively for women, by women, with the aim of empowering and supporting female legal professionals. It will be a fantastic platform to discuss important topics, share experiences, and foster meaningful connections. I believe that events like these are crucial in promoting diversity and inclusivity within the legal profession. So, ladies, get ready to be inspired and motivated!

Submissions for Trial Lawyer of the Year and Rising Star

October is also when we begin the selection process of Trial Lawyer of the Year, Rising Star, and our other awardees who we will honor in January at the Gala. The qualifying period is from August 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023. The selection process starts with your nomination. Leadership retreat

And as we approach the end of the year, I am delighted to announce our Leadership Retreat, scheduled for November. This retreat will provide an exclusive opportunity for our members to come together and engage in strategic discussions and visionary planning. It is an event specifically designed for leaders within our organization, aimed at shaping the future of CAALA. I encourage all those in leadership roles to attend and contribute to the success of this retreat.
