Assal Badrkhani

Assal Badrkhani is a senior litigation paralegal at Arias Sanguinetti and serves as the 2024/2025 Vice Chair of the CAALA Legal Staff Committee. The American Association for Justice awarded her as the national organization’s 2023 "Paralegal of the Year." She has 17 years of experience in civil litigation focusing on personal injury, civil rights, sexual assault, and catastrophic injury cases. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from UCLA and earned her Paralegal Certificate from California State University. Assal is a member of AAJ, CAOC, SFTLA and CAALA. She volunteers countless hours mentoring legal staff and speaking at conventions and webinars on legal education topics.
